You never answered my question. Are there any areas of Georgia where you can find a 100 acres still open and available? Where should I look? I love VA , but the winters are still cold and NC has to many rude New Yorkers moving in. Just saying...

Google is your friend for that Glenn. I just did a bunch of research on urban parts of Georgia and various military bases (for book ) but I'm just now moving out to the country.

I will say that if you can't find farmland in South Georgia I'd be mighty surprised. Look at a map of GA and focus on Atlanta. Then scroll down and you will encounter the real Georgia. It's almost ALL of GA.

For me though, I like Roswell and the North GA mountains.
