Slacker, if I mail you some .wav files of this beautiful two guitar tracks (gut string) could you for a fee add some more instrumentation? or to get to the point, just get the two .wav files to get mixed together as a tune? ..once again, with this Ableton Live Lite 5 Line 6 Edition which is what? 12 years old and obsolete, since the current version(free) to Toneport UX-2 users (Line 6 edition) has a much higher numer and so large I can not download it with my dial-up internet..if you could just mix and master with the process you use and are friendly with I could still send you some sort of monetary fee that both of us could think as reasonable? I have the files right now on my Lacie external harddrive but is rather large and would cost 8 bucks or so to ship to Sioux City, I could also go to walmart or bestbuy and buy a USB stick and send files on that and of course much lighter weight shipped USPS First Class Package for 3 bucks ? or so..thanks friend either way, even if you don't want to do it, I still hope you are a friend even though I am a brain dead liberal! NOT! a left of center neutral or maybe neutered? LOL

since I can't get it mixed or mastered, I can still play it and hear both tracks at the same time within the Ableton Library clips.. and have hooked up that VOX MINI3 guitar amp using it as a powered monitor, cause those headphones are killing my ears. if anybody wants to hear this exceptional two track gut string guitar piece, let me know and I will give you my telephone no. and you can get an idea of it's structure over the handset of the telephone,

I do this all the time with folks around the world....it's easy with dropbox. (or some of the other mass storage sites)

I am on a slooooooooooow line modem. I can't download or upload anything over 5 megs, and a 5 meg MP3 takes over 30 minutes for me to upload.

Ted, I could mail you a USB stick or something with the two wav. files on it / they will be labeled (jazz2 rhythm) and( jazz2 lead guitar) they will have the orange parking cone VLC media player icons.. they are approx. 46 mbs each way too large to send with dial-up.. would have to send you U.S. mail on a USB stick and since you would have to mail a data cd and the USB stick back I could pay for shipping, and if you have some nice seesion players, particularly a bassist, a keyboardist or a sax player I will entertain fees ? if it would be affordable for me.. I really do think it is a hit smooth jazz/brazilian jazz hybrid tune.. there is some background noise from I don't know what? probably the sound card? and me accidentally bumping the guitar against the computer desk, I hate the idea of becoming a fluent sound engineer, I just have musical ideas, and if you and me could work together as musical business associates I would have no qualms, I just hope you and Slacker are not prejudiced against people (like me?) that might not have the same spiritual ideas? business should not get in the way of personal belief systems should it?

dayne, you've put up youtube stuff before. why not (for the purpose of sharing it w others to hear) go that route?

(not for actual overdubs....but to share it w others to check out)

Slacker, I thought if you did want to do it, I would mail you a USB stick in the U.S. Mail, I was thinking you could send the finished product back as a data CD or install the finished product onto the USB stick and of course, I pay for your services and shipping.. no problem, and I am fully aware you have said, if you don't like how something sounds on your past collabs sending binary files in the mail, you won't work with it, .. you are a great player and might as well try working with the best to get a quality product.. you know what Slacker, I am in talks with this Harmony Studio guy in Buffalo, Mo. and he said he can add a bass line and keyboard part for $80.00, if I can get him to get me a hi-fi sounding CD or mp3 or whatever, I swear I will send you a copy of this tune in the making that really is great, even the Andrew guy said it was hot..

I'm always on the road so I have to go to Starbucks. You can do it there, no problem.

Thanks for the offer, Dayne, but I'm way too busy to take on any more projects, and I'm living on the road anyway. My studio is at home, where I do nothing but visit my wife and kids.

Mark, that was Brucie's computer in Springfield high speed cox internet, I don't even have a youtube account, what's the use? I can't upload anything, it seems like Obama would get us high speed internet out here in the boondocks? JUST KIDDIN!

Slacker, I will send you a CD I just burned of "The Last Goodbye" just shoot me an address and I will get it out to you, I was not getting the "cue" and "sends" set up right on the recording software, after some time (months, if not years) I have got at least two tracks figured out , possibly 4 tracks since that is all the Ableton Live Lite 5 Line 6 Edition is, a 4-track recording software "machine" ..
