Glen ... do not let the ridiculous gaggle of trolls here distract or distress you. During your time here you have made it abundantly clear who you are and what you stand for. You have not hidden cowardly behind a variety of made up names and profiles. you have been honest and spoken directly and unashamedly. This "litter", these trolls that have found a morsel of attention here are nothing. they are a sad indication of the rot that has taken over the world, destroying, families, countries, economies and multitudes of innocent and often ignorant lives. They are Internet Lint. Their kindergarten posts with cute little graphics and infantile "humour" are rather self explanatory.

I for one in light of the little time that remains, have decided to simply ignore them as i do Barkers in front of Strip joints. They have little lives and even these are shrinking now. Planet guy should be ashamed that he has been taken in by them and even has tried to pit you against Talbot. This is only very transparent and wrong action. Ignore the trolls and they will vanish because they are nothing on their own. There are far too many other things of real importance to Post and respond to. You are my friend as is Talbot, Slacker and a few others and I will not ever try and pit any of you against one another as this is wholly Evil, wrong and dishonourable.

One may possibly be able to forgive them if "they know not what they do" but if they are aware and ponce about pridefully touting their sad attempt, well I think it at this moment unforgivable and unredeemable. That saying "old enough to know better" obviously does not have much basis now in our crumbling world.

Now this is for the TROLLS ... a different perspective for those who think they either are or are not a Troll. I do this to provoke thought from everyone not to inflame any. Critical thought is important, logical reasoning is important and Good and Evil are important... and we mere little humans are most likely extremely amusing to perhaps those that view us through the terrarium wall.

When formulating opinions it is important to view other perspectives as well as your own ... even for trolls from either "side".

It matters little to me that the member best known here as "Vinny" changes his screen name from time to time. There are many here who value their anonymity and the facts show that time and time again he is one of the most
articulate and clearest communicators here. The fact that he so easily raises your hackles with an on point cartoon....sorry, but I just find that amusing in light of the fact that have been many times when you've complimented him for scoring a bullseye!

My "allegiances" haven't changed. Like most, I side with those who hold similar views as myself. No worries, Vamp. Thanks for that link. Pretty funny indeed. I do hope he's off by a wk or so w the timetable for the asteroid collision as I have a few lucrative gigs that promise to be most enjoyable come the beginning of October!

When folks starting getting civil with each other I take that as a victory - not for me but everyone. I have friends all over the political and artistic spectrums so I rarely want to get involved in it.

I had an interesting (for me at least) epiphany when i finally joined FaceBook. I was there to interact with potential readers (customers) and I quickly realized that at least 50% of them would not be too impressed by my own political stances.

Worse - as I located old friends on FB I quickly realized that many of them were far away from me politically, even culturally at times.

So I put the people first and treat my customers with respect by not shoving my politics down their throats and just avoid arguing with old friends. I should note that the level of vehemency one sees these days bodes ill for the future.

btw - I'm awaiting a cover (running late) for 'Read Dirt Zombies,' but book is complete and edited plus I have notes and 37 pages for the sequel. Have to format it for several platforms so back to the tech world I go. Running a short story called the 'Flower War' to get things moving and get some practice with the minutia. And studying marketing - blah...
