Basing on one of your past purchase experiences, the purpose of this questionnaire is to determine which are the main levers fostering the perceived value of a musical instrument.

You can fill it several times by taking each time one of your new or used instruments (even if you don't own it anymore) as a subject.

No information which could allow to personally identify you is required or collected in this questionnaire.

1st question: "What type of musical instrument do you consider?"
3rd question: "What is your level of practice regarding music?"
7th question: "I felt exalted regarding this instrument." Really? Intelligent and articulate?

The world is bigger place these days. The internet and indi publishing has instroduced me to some great players (in several arenas) that often are not fluent but have great ideas and are well read.

I recently spent a half hour with a Russian pal whose English deteriorates when he gets excited - but he is always excited! But he is an artist and always involved some project or the other. My kind of folks.

This cat J-Sun is trying to do something and he is doing better in a foreign language than I ever did. (I studied French and occasionally had to look like an ass in my attempts to use it whilst playing at soldiers)

This ain't one of those writer's forums where everyone obsesses over an adverb or two.

Give the guy a break.

For an instrument I've always looked for and sometimes found, instruments that met the quality requirements of professional playing, but even more importantly, fit me in terms of play-ability and sound. I've been lucky to accumulate some instruments like that at reasonable prices. And yeah, when I play my Fender P Bass or my Gibson Firebird, I sometimes feel exalted.

I agree that some of the questions in this survey may seem odd but these ones generally offer the advantage to bring a specific information. In all cases, the best solution is to be spontaneous. The only right answer is the one that corresponds to your feeling towards each question.

I apologize for my modest level in english and the mistakes it may generate. I am very respectful for foreign languages and I am the first one to feel frustrated when I go abroad and can't express myself correctly. I'll continue doing my best to improve myself.
