But several European countries are now desperately trying to correct the mistakes of multiculturalism and tolerance by discouraging the growth of Muslim infrastructure within their borders, such as mosques and Shariah courts.
Italy was one of the first European countries to limit or completely ban construction of new mosques and more closely monitor activity around the ones already in service.
One only has to look to the Charlie Hebdo massacre in France and the countless attempts by radical Muslims to wreak havoc around the continent to understand that multiculturalism has failed Europe tragically.
Though the efforts have begun about a decade too late, some other European countries are following suit and have clamped down on Muslim freedom within their borders.
Some have even claimed that it’s become so bad in countries like England that they now live in a sort of two-tiered system — one for Muslims and one for other citizens.
The United States has already seen examples of this in areas like Dearborn, Michigan — where much of the city is populated by Muslims. American leaders need to take heed of what’s happened in Europe over the past decade and face the facts — radical Muslims will never voluntarily assimilate into American communities (H/T Conservative Post).
Many of the steps implemented or considered in Europe would be gross violations of constitutional freedom in the United States.
But until we enact a constitutional solution, the world should prepare for additional attacks by followers of a religion who have sworn to eliminate non-believers.
