We are seeking members for a hard working band that will rehearse on the West Side of Chicago and play regionally. Mostly covers with a bit of a twist, and possibly some originals down the line. The style ranges from outlaw to oldies to american to alt rock but with a bit of a punk tinge. Covers that don't fit will be adapted to fit the style of the band (better to have fun with the covers than play them straight all the time). The groundwork is already laid for the band and we have a booking agent lined up. You can expect to earn from $100-300 per gig to start, more if this is a successful endeavor. We am looking for the following:

Guitarist - Proficient at both rhythm and lead. Ability to blend into the sound.
Bassist - Proficient at moving bass lines. Upright bass a plus.

Also, we'd be interested in hearing from:
Keyboardist - Ability to improvise and create parts for songs that don't originally have keys.
String Player - Violin / Mandolin / Lap Steel / etc. Ability to play multiple string instruments and adapt parts.

For all of the above, backing vocals are a huge plus. More voices is always better. 21+ please as most places we play will require this. We are indifferent to gender. Professional, hardworking musicians with a good attitude looking to make this the absolute best in class band in the region and to have some fun make money doing it.
