Video: Cop Forced To Resign After Face-Slamming Man Into Concrete.

A Cop in Spotsylvania County, VA was forced to resign after footage emerged of him dangerously slamming a handcuffed man into the concrete face-first.

The officer, David Schmindt Jr.,resigned from the County Sheriff’s Office after charges of misdemeanor assault and battery were brought against him.

The man in the video, Nathan Barton, was being arrested for public intoxication. When he initially resisted arrest, Schmindt was called in as back up.

Police

When Barton said to the officer “Don’t f**k handle me like that,” the cop lost it and slammed him to the ground, knocking him out cold. He is lucky to be alive.

Schmindt’s use of excessive force was described as a violation of policy and found to be inappropriate by the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.

As InfoWars has noted, there have recently been a number of disturbing cases of exactly this type of force being used by police across the country.

Indeed, there are so many cases of this type of take down occurring, often when the subject is handcuffed, some ending in paralysis or even death. It is clear that cops are being trained to deal with subjects in this manner.

Police brutality continues to rise across the country

(INTELLIHUB) — A police officer in Virgina has resigned from the force after video footage released by the victim’s family showed him slamming a handcuffed man face first into the concrete.

Officer David Schmindt Jr. is currently facing charges of misdemeanor assault and battery for the knock out which was recorded by a women traveling with the man, Nathan Barton.

Fredericksburg.com reported:

Nathan Anthony Barton, who was charged with being drunk in public, resisted being taken into custody by the responding deputy, Pearce said. Schmidt came to the scene to help the other deputy, he said.

According to Pearce, Barton became unruly a second time and alleged that Schmidt threw him to the ground.

A woman who was traveling with Barton recorded the incident with her iPad.

Family members of Barton provided The Free Lance–Star with the video on Wednesday.

The one-minute, 16-second video does not show what led to the arrest, but Barton can be heard saying, “What did I do?” and “Don’t [expletive] handle me like that” before he is thrown to the ground with his face hitting the pavement.

Apparently the officer didn’t like being questioned and decided to let the drunken man know who was boss. Sadly, this type of aggressive and illegal behavior by police is far from rare.

As noted by Steve Watson, “there have recently been a number of disturbing cases of exactly this type of force being used by police across the country.

Indeed, there are so many cases of this type of take down occurring, often when the subject is handcuffed, some ending in paralysis or even death. It is clear that cops are being trained to deal with subjects in this manner.”

The increase in police brutality across the country has been heavily documented throughout the alternative media with literally hundreds and even thousands of instances of brutality documented by websites such as CopBlock and FilmingCops.

Statistics recorded by the website Fatal Encounters also detail the startling fact that American citizens are much more likely to be killed by police than terrorists.

“Data gathered by an impartial nonprofit documents the deaths of over 5,000 Americans killed at the hands of police in the last fifteen years. The deaths dwarf those killed by terrorists despite the American government using the fear of terrorism to strip Americans of the their rights on a daily basis.”

After the inital release of the findings, news out Vox put together an interactive map that really put the situation into perspective.

“How many people are killed in interactions with law enforcement in the United States of America? Are they increasing? What do those people look like?”

The rise of the warrior cop, outfitted with military gear provided by the Pentagon is a threat to the freedom of all Americans and must continue to be exposed. Whether it be attacks on citizens or outright murder this must be stopped.

It is also important to remember that this is not simply a local police issue. The federal government is directly involved with this warrior cop mentality and to this day have not fully stopped outfitting local police for war.

Though I do believe most police officers are doing their best in a tough job, at the same time there are still far too many who treat every citizen as if we are criminals. They intimidate people into being afraid of them, and then use that as an excuse for "probable cause" for illegal searches.

Don't even think about driving down Hwy 81 in western Virginia/Tennessee between midnight and 5 AM. Same goes for I-10 in New Mexico.

I've seen 10-20 people at a time pulled over within a mile of each other and cops going through all their stuff several times on the side of the road.

It's starting to look like virtually all the people shot at that Waco biker fiasco were shot by cops and ATF pigs.

I hadn't realized those murderous ATF scum were on scene so it's starting to make sense now. Of all the gangs involved - ATF is the most deadly, most cowardly and most disgusting.

It is isolated from any other city by an hour

When/if they truth comes out, the media will continue to paint anyone who exposes it as conspiracy kook. But the truth has not yet been told.

There is a discrepancy now about whether it was 3, 4, or 5 bikers who were armed. Most of the bikers had no arrests in their history, much less a criminal record.

This was nothing more than a military slaughter from the police force, and totally unnecessary.

So....will we hear the left decry how many people were put in danger (and indeed injured or murdered) by the gun-toting government, like they did in Garland over free speech rights for conservatives?

We will hear crickets.
