The "This" movie channel is showing "Rockula" this morning. Is that the worst rock movie or are there contenders for that title?

Even Spinal Tap wasn't this bad.

Ban yourself for the "Spinal Tap wasn't this bad" comment. Still Crazy is a milquetoast rock movie. Kind of based on a fake Pink Floyd type band. Really lame.

funny, the other day i was talking to a bandmate who can't get enough music movies, and musician biographies about the Jimmy Cliff movie "The Harder They Come". he'd never seen it, nor heard of it.

great, great music but the movie itself....well, not so much so.

Never got into 'Spinal Tap'.

Beatles movies were just big jokes - but I like the music.

Tommy (the movie) - Ann-Margaret just getting a little too old at that point, and Oliver Reed - WTF were they thinking? The Who music, Clapton, and even Tina Turner were good in it, though.

Never heard of Rockula or Zachariah.

I showed "The Last Waltz" to my ex - one loves to share the things one loves eh.

She told me later she had pretended to like it. I hate to sound naive but that was a shock.

Clam-bake, we're gonna have a clam-bake.....

I loved Elvis but yea, his movies were pure cheese.

The worst I've seen was something my former label did last year called "The Identical". It was pulled from theaters after about 4 days of empty rooms. I think it got the worst "rotten tomato" rating of all time.

Maybe you know that Elvis had an identical twin who died at birth? This film started out to explore the possibilities of "what if he had lived"?

But the Elvis estate refused to give them permission to make that story, so they had to change the names of everything, write original music, etc.

So it was an Elvis film where they had to act like it wasn't Elvis.
