Digital sales of music are down over 10% in the last few months and streaming music is really taking off. Am I wrong, but I get the impression that live gigs are becoming the major revenue source more than ever before and ever increasingly. We get such a small amount from each stream and these radio stations, that I'm a part of too, like jango, spottily and pandora are getting more and more popular.
So does anyone have any ideas on how to make this work financially? In my world there is a little publishing (which may be the best source), sales, streams and possibly some gigs, because I've kind of stopped gigging.
Any ideas out there?
