Don't get me started...

The greatest respect to all all our Veterans, THANK YOU!

I respect vets more than most - soldiers make sense to me. My father was a sailor in WWII, his father a Marine in WWI and we had boys in grey as well as some (to my disgust) in blue. We go back to the original revolution - always fighting somebody. Some actually did fight for freedom. But since world war two our soldiers have simply be fighting and dying because govt thought that was a good idea.

Therefore, it seems silly and pointless to thank anyone for protecting our freedom. Emails, phones - tapped. Cameras everywhere. Make believe tough guys in military costumes and masks pointing sub-machine guns at folks. Veterans dying for lack of care while govt supports Al Qaeda in Mideast and Yugo. I don't call this freedom. Sorry.

It's gone. No sense pretending. Shooting folks the govt swine are pissed at has done nothing to protect your freedom or mine. Might just be time to point those guns in a direction where freedom can actually be protected or at least restored.

Sorry Dad - we just weren't up to the job...

How can you fuss at the moderators when you are yourself acting out the role you perceive them playing? All thought must fall in line with what you think to be correct? Really? That's this freedom you're always ranting about?

You speak ex Cathedra, as the final arbiter on right and wrong. You go on and on about freedom but I can't imagine how what you're selling equates in any way to freedom.

Lighten up and stop picking on people and calling them names. Go back and read your own posts, then ask yourself if the moderators have ever been half so mean and critical as you are? Seriously.

You have been FLIP- FLOPPING all over the place. I don't even know who you are anymore. The problem is is you fail to see that you are pulling the big liberal trick of lighten up, stop name calling, and TURNING THE DECEPTION, LIES , and CONTROVERTED EVIDENCE AROUND. You sound just like Mark!!!

I despair when I see Americans saying "When are we going to wake up?"

We are awake. People with triple digit IQs (not so much of the population as I thought btw) know what they think.

Your moral values and mine - I speak to all - are not so very dis-similar at the bottom line. Yet there are lengthy arguments about 'freedom.' Freedom apparently, is where you do things they way the leader of your faction, your party, or just you, define it.

Freedom. Right.

My late brother, God love him, got fed up with the 'police state' one night in a small town up north of here. He drank rather a lot of beer. He spray painted 'f**k the pigs' and other juicy slogans on the side of his trick and armed himself with half the guns and knives in that town!

In a rare outpouring of good fortune, he was ignored and returned home, dejected and somewhat chastened. My other brother, Dan, and I gave him hell - "What were you gonna do? Change the world by fighting resisting the oppression of the 'militarized' police in a town of 12k people?"

He turned all his weapons over to Dan and learned a good lesson. Proving we can learn from our mistakes.

Polarizing a music website with constant political attacks on people is not as stupid as what my brother did, but it is in the same space.

We should be comrades here. We all face variants on the same challenges - write songs, play well, get gigs, survive...

We can kill each other later, if you like, when society collapses, as it surely must. But until then, for God's sake, what do you gain by attacking each other with unkind words?

Personally, I'm a warrior. As such I guarantee that while I live, I will never submit to anyone who doesn't conduct them self as a gentleman. Such people always seem to find it awfully easy to just bump off folks who don't buy what they're peddling.

I won't even listen to that political bullshit if I don't think you are a gentleman - what do you have for me? You want to be my boss.
