If these statements are true (I have no reason to say they aren't but haven't kept up with this lately) then there is no defending them.

But I don't see what that has to do with cows grazing on grass in 160,000 acres?

But just so I can understand the position, does anyone here think that being a racist, or in the case of this thread supporting a racist, would discredit them from having a legitimate opinion?

If so, does it mean they don't have any authority to speak about important issues?
The government and all the people the people that have government jobs, don't give a damn about the people they are screaming they are helping.
I hate oversimplifications and broad sweeping across the board blanket statements offhandedly tossed out there to make a point.

and when I read dismissive comments I'm likely to dismiss the views of those making them.

I know and have known many fine upstanding people with government jobs...teachers, administrators, lawyers working at the Attorney General's and public defender's office, law enforcement, DNR, etc.....ALL govt' jobs and all taking pride in serving the people.

as I see it, everyone has freedom of speech and gets to share whatever hateful, ignorant, and racist comment they like.

but if they do...understand that many will take their measure of the person making those statements from that.

me, I will absolutely view statements like that as a reflection of someone's character. and everything they have to say will colored by that.

same as if I learned someone was a wife beater or such. they still get to make statements and "speak about important issues"...I'm just less likely to put as much stock in what they say.

...."why", you ask? because for me...that shitbird behavior speaks to their character.

I could not agree more....

So why does the left support a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright's church for TWENTY TWO YEARS?

Why aren't they screaming about the so-called "Justice" Dept funding fraud and propaganda designed to stir up race riots (and successfully so) with Al Sharpton in Sanford FL?

Can you help me understand the hypocrisy of giving that a pass while acting indignant about a poor choice of words from a rancher who doesn't have the power to harm either of us?

Then you agree that silence on those matters makes anyone who voted for (at least the second time) or still supports Obama is a racist....and of bad character.

I know we aren't given a good choice in Presidential elections for whatever reason. But the choice was corrupt capitalist or racist national socialism. As bad as those choices are, one of them is especially evil.
