Hey fellas, thought I'd post a few clips of my Megadeth tribute band performing in Houston's Big 4 Tribute show this past weekend. Was a pretty cool event, hope those of you that are old school metal heads enjoy.

Never much of a Megadeath fan, never heard these songs or listened to any of their stuff. Dont know whether good or bad as a tribute band.

Pretty cool but I will offer one suggestion - and believe me, I know how hard Megadeth songs can be to play so I'm not putting on airs.

I'd suggest a bit more rehearsal and probably a few low rent gigs. Just to tie it all together The licks are there - some hot playing. However sometimes the licks just felt like a collection of licks rather than a song.

I hope you do you well, truly. People playing in the heavy metal space as you are can do cool things. These are hard songs. One of the entry fees to the 'big time' is excruciatingly good chops. And of course if you play that good you can darn sure write some songs!

Good luck!

Absolutely Mike, I agree that we are still a work in progress and I hope we continute to improve with each performance. The ultimate challenge is to get to the point where we can pull off the Megadeth material perfectly live. Thanks for the comments man!
