I'd have no idea . . . that was 40 years ago for me.
Same problem likely exist now as then.
It requires dedication focus and hard work to learn an instrument.

It is very hard to find committed young adults to play with....why? :(
I am a bass player looking to play metal, hard rock, maybe some punk, funk, and even country - hec, i can play about everything and , and if do not know it, i will learn it....

In time I will be entering my second childhood.

I'm an OK picker, I learn fast, and I never ever step on another musicians toes....musically speaking.

Does that count for anything? :)
