I was invited to assist and observe a friend of mine whom owns a professions audio service.
QSC line array and a tremendous selection of subs we set up in less than 30 minutes due to his very skillful custom design and the fact that he and his assistant ( for lack of a better word ) have the logistics down to a fine art.
Direct wired into the house for 100 amps, 35,000 watt capable system.
The band Stony Larue came in in a brand new tour bus ( complete with a slide out bed room ) and two engineers.
They set up their own state of the digital art (Behringer X35 I believe ) consoles one at front of house and a second to mix / control the stage and total wireless monitor in ear systems.
The house was packed. estimated to be >750 people ( at $15.00 per, plus alcohol sales )
Money is being made in music.
Though you should know, was an eye opener for me.
Sorry my phone camera photos came out poor.
Maybe next time.
PS
The band had some really good players.
Music was just not my thing, though I did enjoy about %10 of their fair.
The crowd, for the most part young drunken women, loved it.
