Dammit I can't think of anything funny no matter how hard I try...

Must be your son. Location looks too cold for me though...I thought they had stopped allowing them to wear the old style Dress Blues though. They had switched to something more like a suit when I was in, I hated it but could still buy the old style one, like he's wearing, and I did. something like a year later they were requiring the new zoot suits though, I was in the last year allowed to opt for the old uniforms.

He's doing GREAT . . . already at POWER COMMAND SCHOOL in Charleston.

Has the dress blue, one for daily dress with a tan top, and his work uniform in the Naval blue digital camo.

I forget the names too, have they dropped the dress whites? I hated those...no such thing as clean after about an hour or so...

Wait a minute...PURCHASE uniforms??? What happened to issuing the damn things? The only reason I had to buy anything was to get the older "sailor suit" since I hated the suit type they issued. Damn thing looked almost exactly like a business suit except for the hat. Yuk...

Glad he's doing well, hope he likes it better than I did, 5 minutes after I got there I wanted out, hated every minute of it. First thing they did was some guy walked up and slammed a navy manual on a podium and yelled

I hated it from that second forward, nobody owns this kid.

We had to wear whites for daily wear. Sure didn't stay clean long on a ship. Dress Blues weren't so bad. I don't know why they put the bib on the back.

That is unacceptable. Just where the hell are those billions of military dollars going that our gov't is spending? They want billions to keep us in Afghanistan, which Obummer of course lied about, and they don't even have the decency to feed the damn troops? I bet Washington would have done really well treating HIS troops like that...
