I'm a glutton for punishment. Two more guitarists coming over tomorrow. Not bragging but we're having a helluva time with people not keeping up with us. It's frustrating.

I feel your pain, Bob.

I was supposed to meet another bassist today at 1pm, but it's snowing already at 9:30am. So I sent him some crappy stuff I have on a flash drive and just waiting for the hammer to fall.

It's a crapshoot on a good day, every other day it's worse.

Bob

I wish you luck. You can sing and play bass - both are usually in high demand so it's a matter of time.

Scott - have you considered a warmer clime? 8) It's hard to play when your fingers are frozen together.

Show me a good bassist that wants to work in my area of expertise and I'd consider relocating.

The employment up here is beyond bad and being a peasant isn't much fun.
You learn to get through it though.

I get sick of hearing bullshit about why wages are low and benefits are not available, when my one buddy who is programming code has bene's out the ass and more $ than you can shake a stick at.

It's always the 1% club and lemme tell ya, that's not a motorcycle club although I like them bikers. They are good people and they like to throw money around too.

Some of the better people I know are from a more suspect class of people but as always there are good and bad everywhere you go, you just have to try and keep an open mind.

In a horrible economy people do what they have to just to survive and some thrive, even though they might not be "legit" in the eyes of the United States Treasury or local constabulary.
