Hey everyone, you might remember me from my guitar videos I post here from time to time, and today Im back with what I consider to be "the real deal" - an instrumental written & recorded entirely by me. Its called "Apocalyptic Visions" its heavy, melodic and its inspired by the end of the world theme and old school heavy metal. And it has my probably most technical solo to date.

I watched and liked it bro ...
I like your melodic parts the best ....
and the harmonized guitar parts.
Is there any trick or technique to writing those kind of guitar lines you can share ?
I have been jamming with my buddy who is very riff orientated and want harmonize his lines ....
You have any tips for me ?

Try plucking two notes at the same time on cleans - if they sound good together when you pluck them on cleans they should sound good together being played seperately by 2 guitars on distortion.
Obviously both notes should (but not always have to) be on the same scale. With time you will develop some sence of which intervals go well together but I still use the plucking thing I described earlier.
