Ive been working a bunch, like everyday for the past several weeks.

Thursday night the band Faster pu**y Cat played in Memphis, I decided to go check it out.

I guess I was ready for a night out, cause I really got tore up, I dont ussually do that. Playing pool, shooting those fireball things, raiseing hell, it seems like most of the hard rock guitarist Ive know thru the years were in attendence.

When I initially got to the club, there was the tour bus parked to the side, a car was parked in front it. It was a small parking lot, so I parked behind the car in front of the tour bus. I was driving my sons truck which is an S-10, and I pulled up and over the curve to make sure it wasnt sticking out. My truck sat in this spot til I got ready to leave.

I got to leave and the car in front of my truck is gone, I go to back up and the truck is hung on this curb, it wont pull off, so I see some guys I had been playing pool with and say man can you guys help push me off the curb. No biggie to me.

All of the sudden this guy comes up, I had seen him in the club all night, probably even bs-ed with him some, cause Im just that kinda guy. He starts saying this guy just tryed to run into the tour bus. I explained that if you had paid attention going in and out of the club all night that my truck was right here all night, I in no way was trying to run over this tour bus. SO that gets security of the club involved, one of them walks up to my truck and takes the keys out of it and wont give them to me.

Im normally pretty calm and cool, but i said some things that if I had been the bouncer I probably would have crushed my skull in. Of course half the people left are now all around listening and I know most of them.

So now the security people are saying Im too drunk to drive and they wont let me have my keys. Plus the band manager guy is still raising hell that i tryed to torpedo the tour bus for some reason. That gets real funny cause some folks that know me, say to the manager guy, dont worry about it, John can probably buy 10 of those buses if he wants to so, so if he hit it you guys would be alraight, in fact hes got one in his yard he would probably lend you. I know the club owner and his security chief is ready to call the police on me, they look at me, I said look I know I said some things I shouldnt have, but I have never been accused of running over someones tour bus before, and then have my keys taken away, I said so what do I need to do to make you guys feel better?

So they say if you can get a cab or someone to drive you then we are cool, so I say can I go back inside and figure this out? They said sure, so I go back and and a guy I know from a band I sit in with, comes over and says man let me help, so he gets my keys and he said just tell em that Im taking you home. Which I did.

So this friend pulls out of the parking lot and pulls into the quick stop adjacent to the club parking lot and says are you ok to drive, I said yea.

He says ok, be careful and let me know you got home. So he gets out and I look back over at the club and they are all watching me drive away. I got worried that the guy I got all over would call the police on me, but thankfully he didnt and I got home safe and sound.

Just another adventure in my life.

The bad thing is I was drunker than I should have been to drive, so really they were looking out for my best interest. And I did get calm and sensibly enough that I guess they didnt think I was bat sh*t crazy.
Now faster pu**y cat, they were ok, original singer and all new younger band. They had a huge slow hit back in the day called House Of Pain.

LOL, Faster Puzzy Cat. There a band from the past. Never a fan, though I did see them open for Alice Cooper in the mid 80s. The bill was Faster Puzzy Cat, Ace Frehley and Alice. I went to see ACE and while waiting to get in the venue they posted a sign that Ace Frehley would not be appearing. We were going to leave but decided to go in. Alice was good, Faster was forgettable.
