Why is it so hard now a days to find a real singer?... What did Jefferson Starship have to go through to find Micky? Judas Priest?... I mean, I don't expect to ever come across another Rob Halford, but.. What do you have to do to find someone???..

They are out there. you just have to be relentless. I started singing because we had the same problem (back in the 70's) I am an okay singer. Now that I have found a REAL singer the rest of us support him with harmonies and it sounds GREAT! I am just saying that in this business you have to do what it takes to get by until you find the Real McCoy! Good luck brother!

You have to remember that Jefferson Airplane had already been famous for ten years before they hired Mickey and became Starship. So I don't think that was too tough.

Any good singer is going to already be in at least one band. Find one you like, get to know him and steal him, if you can.

You can be the best band in the world, great drummer, bass, guitars or whatever your instruments are, but if you dont have at least a decent singer it can just kill it.

Good Singers are hard to come by, and even harder to hang onto.
