Boy it's hot in Texas these days...

it's SOOOO hot...

I saw a robin today pulling worms out of the ground with a potholder...

all the anthills in my yard have little umbrellas over them...

an alligator up the road had his thumb out and a sign that said "Minnesota or bust"...

I think it's all that hot air coming from down around Houston...I won't mention any names of course, but I think his initials are Jeff Haley...lol...

Ok just kidding Jeff...

Send it south George, send it south...I just looked up burn bans, looks like the East Texas area is all that's left of Texas without burn bans, and a week ago only 4 counties...120 now.

I thought we might get some rain the past couple of days, but it looks like it passed us by. my garden is wilting...and more cantaloupes are almost ripe...I've already picked a half dozen, tomato plants are just about gone, everything drying up.

Y'all usually get more down there than we do Billy.
Clouded up and a light sprinkle now . . . 96 degrees, air so thick you can dull your knife on it.
