Well, I am not 6'2" an 260 lbs. ... You are a giant Captain Scott... I am going to have to go into hiding now... *Talks at a safe distance of about 100 yards*

Actually though, I am the tallest member in my family, and I am not that tall, lol. I am only about 5'10", by national standard I am about one inch above average height, so, lol. That is out of shoes by the way... I am about 5' 11" in shoes. So I am not s big guy who people run in fear from, plus I have a frail build... Face it, I am going to get the crap kicked out of me someday by some bully of about your height and weight. *Stays in a dark corner for safety purposes.* :?

Lmao. Yeah, I agree with the fact that a parent has no right to say crap and have nothing to back it up. They say it and then they do not realize they were the ones who skipped town on you. My dad is more respectful with me than my sister though (He finds women subservient, bunch of horsesh*t). I hate when he is mean to her, that is usually when I tend to react, I get angry from that crap.

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

Being a good parent aint easy. That whole being a falable human thing really mucks things up sometimes. I remember when I was in my teens I loved my father but boy he didnt no crap about my world. Now his wisdom just gets deeper day by day. Used to lament the fact he was always workin or restin from workin. Now I can see the depth of his love and sacrifice. We should all make the best of the time we have with our parents, they will not always be there.

I try to get along with my father, because I know that he is not always going to be here. But he is just a very tricky man to be around. I care about him, I do not like arguing with him, but that man can frustrate me to no end.

He has a lot of fallacies, that is for sure.

What you do and how you cope is individual. Just do not emulate that which is a faulty model.

Not all mammals are equal, some are missing important parts of conscience and the ability to do the right thing.

[quote="da skunk"......it's about the music and the people listening not the musicians loyalty..... LOVE AND PEACE[/quote]

Skunk,
Recognising the importance of your audience shows that your a "high level performer".As for your "day job or music gig" quandary, go with your heart and the imput of your family.

You are welcome. I see many types of interfamily relationships as a Nurse.
They are quite visable especially at the end of life experiences. Ive had to tell folk " Your mother / father is dieing, And there is no way around it"
And I have been met by everything from blank stares to outright hostility.
And its strange , its usually the hostile ones, at the end of it all will seek me out and hug me with tears in there eyes. They need not say a thing.

Back in the day...we all had read the "teachings of don juan" the tales of carlos castenada in his study of psychotropic plants in mexico...well carlos and the yaqui sorcerer "don juan" and some others did the ritual chewin' some special desert cacti....so we tried ourselves...I did the procedure just like the book. my friend had a bad experience and i asked him what happened? he says " well i'd chew a button, swallow it and drink a shot of tequila, i did that 3 times, then i puked like rainbows into the white porcelin god while time stood still!"....i said man you were supposed to chew a button, spit it out then rinse your mouth with tequila and spit it out!so guys it's always good to read the instructions before ya go on a trip!

Sounds like fun. Chew button, rinse with tequila and swallow, 3x. Got it.

Don't forget to plug in amp and pedals before chewing. LOL

And make the straight guys run the recording.
