I've got a friend who is a high ranking project manager at the Energy Dept in DC and he's been telling me for years that they are pushing "Green" energy that costs 20 times what we get now.

A failure in every sense. Slack is right. We're spending $20 to make $1 worth of energy.

But I don't smoke, tho I do have a friend who
owns a studio, and he says the beer in a 30 pack
for 12.99 is good as a 18 pack for the same money.
Glad I drink wine.

OK, I saw my friend from the Energy Dept last night and asked him to remind me about what he'd told me and it's this:

We're subsidizing solar energy to make it appear cheaper than it really is.

The goal of the Energy Dept is to get the cost of solar power down to making a watt of solar power cost as much as it does to make one kilowatt of energy that comes from coal.

That's still 10,000 times the cost of electricity we get from coal.

More insanity from the "green" people.
