Hmm, may have agreed with you at one time (and I think they redeemed themselves with hump de bump - funk +1) But I'm seriously leaning towards Wolfmother at the mo. 'where eagles have been' is a work of pure beauty... orgasmic even.

Bela Fleck & the Flecktones is the coolest, truly "international" band ever, imho.

Paul Simon uses world beat influences very well, too.

What do you mean by international, anyway? If you're talking about worldwide releases, then I'd say Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, & of course the Stones & the Beatles.
