One thing I regret is not keeping a list of all the songs I've ever played on (hundreds and hundreds) from all the bands I've been in. That includes ones I've sang or just played an instrument on, mostly bass.
That's a fine list, much diversity, a nice mix of obscure and well-known tunes. Tells me you're playing what YOU want instead of what the crowd wants. But the result will be crowd pleasing I'm sure....

Thanks Ted and Bob! Weren't you guys in that movie with Carol and Alice?

I'm super geeked for tonight, even though we have to compete with the Wings for attention. Whatever you do this weekend, have fun, be safe and rock on!

They both ran off with bob cause I'm never home.

Saw your post and rejoice that it went so well for you guys. You really are an excellent guitarist and you're singer rocks, too. It is uncanny how much your songlist looks like the one I used to sing.

I'm touring in Oregon and Washington for a couple of weeks, having a blast. This part of the country is the best for me financially. Today, I have to figure out the best detour to get around that bridge that fell into the Skagit River on I-5. Shouldn't be a problem since I like taking the long way through mountains up here anyway.

Will get 3 days to go hiking/fishing/partying in Hood River area starting tomorrow. Stoked about that....

Anyway....congratulations on a gig well played. Looks like you and Jeff Haley both had a great weekend. Sometimes I think you guys are identical twins from a parallel universe. LOL

Ted, I guess you could say we are like the characters in an episode of "Star Trek" where a man split into 2 One anti-matter and the other matter. Star Trek is zen and all the answers to me.

Have a good trip Ted be careful driving around up in them thar mountains.

That's a killer list Jimmy no doubt you'll do great.I think I'll use a couple of those songs. How do you come up with your list you must know a ton more. What tells you,hey I'm gonna learn that song.I mean these are some old and good classics with a lot of full body, especially the Deep purple songs.
I see most of your band has 3 members am I missing some bodies. You have got a good sound Jimmy.Good luck on your gig.

Joe, we mutually decide on all the songs to do, but of course they must pass the singer test first. No sense in learning songs the singer can't do. Our gig Saturday was a huge success, the owner booked us for another show in June. Meanwhile, our next gig is this Friday at a much bigger venue. The wheels are spinning.
