OK I haven't tried that one but I suppose it would work, but put something under it so it won't be as likely to stick to the cut itself. Neosporin would be my choice, or Vaseline...

You know, I was oilfield long before I was a nurse.

Hate to even mention it but var-sol or even gasoline is great for chemical cauterization.
We had to do that a lot working compressors. Shimming bearings is impossible with gloves on and those brass shims are just like a razor.

I like your duct tape idea better George. Gasoline hurts like a mofo in an open wound. It also contains nastys that I don't really want in the bloodstream. It would be a shame to heal the cut with gas only to have your nads swell up like grapefruit a week later.

A little late to the party but I agree with Neanderpaul on the superglue. It works and fast without agonizing pain in the process.

...Haley ... SUPER GLUE is most definately going to work the best under the circumstances. My best friend in High School joined the Navy and became a medic so he would not have to go to Vietnam ...little did he know that they were killing medics over there on purpose and the army ran out of them so the Navy started supplying them in the field or "paddies".

He said super glue was being used extensively there as it could be reapplied as needed and was quick and easy and would hold the guts in until evac got them to the operating theatre.

When we did the Vampier shows ...I used it to hold my fangs in until I got the permanent ones. It worked well so it seems that it is your best bet. Unfortunately whatever happens you will be in some real pain before the end of the show but if it opens then super glue will do the best quick fix and it is not expensive either.

All the members of your Band will be concerned and looking to you for an indication so you must be confident and sure of yourself no matter what. The pressure will be on no doubt. I wish you the very best in this and believe that you seem to possess what it takes to endure the pain and hold your end up in performance. It will not be easy and yo will hurt but it will be worth it when you look back and it can be used to gain further respect from the others and be satisfying within yourself.

Yeah sad to say, I've used super glue before. That works to some degree.

(gulp)
