Its actually a very delightful song.. Barring the Production mix, etc, (a matter of planing and more time) I liked the ambiance and the field of depth... (ala hall effect) that the song evokes.
I have gone to a party in the barn, so I actually know that feeling, an autumn night with that barn door cracked open, spilling out the light and such... The song also captures that farm culture, of simplicity, wholesomeness... Very refreshing Dane. Well done... Yo guys just need to clean it up ...

just a demo, not a master, not a mother either  when a record label in Nashville buys it they can re-arrange it to their own tastes.. I would add fiddle and pedal steel guitar .. I would hire George Strait if I could muster it..

this guy is awesome! he is really good at dialing in a sound that gives you the best opportunity for a song the industry might consider.

Hi Dane!

I felt like the song had a nice groove to it all the way through... don't know much about the genre. I agree... push vocals back a bit. I thought the sound of them in general was fine, just push back.
The only thing I think that felt like a stumble was the outro... the song was grooving fine for three minutes but then the last 10-15 seconds felt like a hiccup.

I like it though! :D

I didn't hear anything necessarily wrong with tone on the vocal as much as the mix was just too loosey goosey. Can't really make out the bass very well and the shaker is annoyingly loud (the rhythm section should be remixed)

and the ending falls apart at 2:58

You ought to edit that off the song, ruins it at the most critical point.
