If you are a musician or band with a new release coming up, tell us about it!
Show us why we all should be excited about it. What makes it good and worth buying??

I'm Litost from Milwaukee with an album right around the corner.. "Love and War" will be released on May 28th on iTunes and Amazon worldwide.
It's an instrumental blend of mellow, dark songs with some devastatingly heavy tunes as well.
I love my music because it makes me disobey speed limits, yet doesn't have the distraction of shitty metal vocal preformances that seem to plague most bands these days.

Okay... now.. I wanna discover new music! Bring it people!

Good point!

Okay, let's see... I have one track off the cd available to stream on reverbnation and soundcloud. It's called Betelgeuse.

That's what I'm talkin about ;)

Nice job... I was thinking the example needs a shredding underscore in some parts. have you fit in a track with a lead that does a question/response between the Drums an the lead...Just a thought...
Its all good though and i love the texture you put into the guitar work.

Hey thanks a lot!
Yeah, the cd itself has a little bit of everything on it. A few tracks that are mellower than that... but kinda a spooky feel. Then there are a few fast paced songs in there.
Betelgeuse doesn't really have any song structure to it... I kind of just wanted it to have a gripping intro and then not return or repeat that. Three sections.
Most of the other songs have a more "conventional" structure.

Litosk

I like it. Don't care about structure - songs write themselves and have the structure they are supposed to have. I really kind of liked the 'feel' of this one.

Thanks Mike T and Paper D!!!
I released that song exactly two months before my cd is due to be out... but I actually finished off a couple songs for that cd that I really wish would have been the "single" instead.
I went with active EMG's on the entire cd with a six-string Schecter... cut down my usage of electronic elements and samples as well compared to my EP.
Most of the album is played in drop-B tuning
B - F# - B - E - G# - Db
I used to play in C but I really wanted that final step to drop on. You can actually hear it very well in this song during the outro. The last notes that are being played on the guitar are the palm muted B's...
