Jim it has a Dokken/AIC Rhythm about it. The recording sounds good... as well as the performance and mix.
It's tough to say much w/o vocals. Good luck in your search.

What drum software are you using? I use EZ Drummer and you can go in to the 'piano roll' view and edit volume on individual hits; you can also use a plug-in called a 'humanizer, which shifts hit strength and timing a little bit, randomly, to give a more natural feel to the drumming. No matter, its better than using a static drum machine! Rock on!
