That seems unreasonably optimistic in that we never got "back on track" after Watergate ... we got Iran/Contra. I think Ollie North was even running for public office fairly recently. By now we seem to be living almost the full realization of, the very prophetic, Z. Brzezinski's "Technotronic Era".
