OMG you guys almost spoiled it for me.. we you did sorta.. Now i know a major character is gonna die

I record it Sunday, but dont watch it- the wife is at work while it's on, so we will watch tonight (and then the talking dead too!)

I already hate that we're next to last episode of the season It seems like forever between seasons, and so far season 3 has been intense!

And don't start nit picking. I read the book - the book did not translate readily to screen - but it looks like they may have done something cool with this movie that I'm looking forward to. What's not to like about a complete global zombie apocalypse?

Well in my defense, most of the specifics mentioned in this thread only covered stuff in earlier episodes! But ... point taken. Even if I didn't KNOW someone from the original cast was gonna die, by the time we were 30 minutes in, I was certain anyways.. they made it pretty obvious - and all along we knew that person had to die somehow by the end of the season.. it was only a matter of who was going to be on the giving end

And even that, I would have guessed correctly

Someone mentioned they read there are going to be 27 deaths in the final episode of the season!

But you forget when the Gov was making his battle plans, they counted up the able shooters in Woodbury, and it was something like 29 ...

yep .. and most of his best are zombie food now.. the previews for the next week look insane.. can't wait!

They also showed a preview of him beating the hell outta andrea.. if anything she at least deserves a good beating for all the grief she's caused

Yeah, he turned zombie after the Gov shot him, then Daryl had to khife his skull to pulp.
It was Merle's right hand, he fixed a knife holder into the arm contraption he wore.

fwiw, I was thoroughly amused by merle, just because he was so over-the-top with his bigotry, but also added a humorous note to a lot of things-

Like the biter-gram joke earlier in the season.. priceless delivery by merle.

I am stoked to see the final episode next week , and already bummed that I will have to wait until october for the next to start :/

I like that they at least redeemed merle's character a little before killing him off.. I'm wondering how they are going to deal with andrea.. her character in the TV series is so far removed from the comic book character that I wonder if they just have to kill her off ?
