That's pretty funny! My money says the 2nd guy from the right (Spider web shirt) is the keyboardist.

have to disagree scottie. it's like this....

l to r: drums/bass/keys/gtr

spider web is surely the keys dude. he's been taking classical lessons since he was five. his main influences... Chopin, Rick Wakeman, and Keith Emerson.

jahva...i just noticed your (new?) signature.

too funny, my partner Val (VAL & MAL) was over friday for an all too rare prct....she's been working on some new tunes and one of them is Gimme Shelter! she's not that much younger than me (her 50 vs my 56) but she had no idea what the song is about. i had to school her so she can sing it and understand the context.

Bah! Good one. I agree Spidey is the likely keys player. I don't see anyone with the arms for big rock drums.

A proper 80s drummer looks more like this:

It's become a timeless song imo... fits today as easy as the late 60's early seventies.
The dangers of this crazy world whether man made or natural never seems to go out of style!

John - I did think of you!! Guessing you don't want to move to Albany, though (who would?)

Mike Im happy where I am, so I wouldnt move for anything.

In my area quite a few 80s bands have formed, playing hair metal. Seems to be an audience for that genre, but Im showing my age, I fall into the 70s era of music, mostly, even thou we do a bunch of 90s material, for some reason we dont do hardly any hair metal band material. But personally I like a lot of those songs, the anthems with big chorus's everyone can sing too. I just dont play any, go figure?

Hey Albany isn't that bad..most of upstate NY is nice.
Even the people are cool.

Monticello, Ferndale, Albany, Watertown, Saugerties, New Paltz, Newburgh, Plattsburgh, Saranac, Oswego and I'm sure I forgot some.
(And the women are niiiiiice.)

You could abandon me anywhere up there and I doubt I would struggle for a moment, let alone try to return to godforsaken Hunterdon County/NJ.

People are simple, they live well and don't struggle or worry as much. (or so it seems) (Dane and Lynard, you follow me now? Simple does not mean "simpleton".)

I could be a billionaire and chances are, I'd be doing the same things, in a different area but nothing would be different otherwise.

You don't need a mansion with 40 rooms or 10 cars or even an Olympic sized pool in your house. You need to be stable, well-fed and happy.
And even billionaires sometimes fail in that respect.

No, give me a small place near the woods with a lot of wilderness around and nice people that aren't pretentious or scumbags and I'll call it home.
It's only natural if you are a regular fellow.

(Oh and I'd like to have a dirt bike and a snowmobile if possible, the older ones are better because you can repair them yourself.)
