JERICHO MARCH 2013

One of my favorite to play, and one of our fan favorites in our current live "CD" set performance.

On my player:

George, I hear you guys evolving and that's good because a decent setup either evolves, succeeds or dies.

If I was producing you, I'd push you to something a shade heavier.

I can hear Jax almost hitting a "Corrosion of Conformity" type of vocal.
Try a tad more reverb on his vocal track. This last track just adds fuel to the fire and asks the question whether or not you guys are playing up to your level of ability.

I also want to mention that I hear your guitar doubling but you really aren't "moving the rock", so to speak.

On the next song, one of you should play and the other should attempt to play with it but not double the line being played. In this last one, the doubled line isn't really complimentary.
If I had to label it, I'd say it was redundant.

Good example of playing against each other in a complimentary fashion

:11 more guitar work, not doubling but complimentary.

Vocal example at 1:46-2:10ish. You could get that out of Jax's voice without too much trouble.

I'd love to hear you bust out a solo re: 2:56-3:15.

I know you guys want a certain product and that's fine.

Your material doesn't have to be anything but what you want it to be, but I honestly think you could do something similar within the genre and roll some fans at the same time.

You don't have to be as heavy but you do have to work together and you can do more with Jax's vocal.

Otherwise you are moving in an interesting direction.
I am curious to see what and where your next stop will be.

PS: Don't thank me, I take cash, credit and personal checks. LOL

We are currently working with another guitarist. A young man with a blues background whom is a better lead player than either Jax or I.
He's not in our recordings as of yet and has only done two rehearsals with us.
Chris is his name. He played in Baytown with us this weekend at his request.
The initial results are very promising.

I bet they are George, as long as you keep progressing you cannot lose.
And you are indeed moving forward.
