I use the Rhapsody player as default setting and all tracks sounded great and played well, until the last track which had an opening piano part and into around 40 seconds I could here my disc player in puter start to rev up really loud and fast and then I could see the little control thing that moves on Rhapsody player keep moving and counting off time but no audio it has cut out.. all the while now the CD player is speeding up revving up noise and slowing down and then I finally eject it but when I went to put CD back in my disk
and disk;E icons have disappeared from system page.. I rebooted the puter but did not fix and at BIOS it said there was a disk error and if I want to run the utility? and clicked no.. but shutting computer down and not just restarting it the 2nd time the icons re-appeared and no more error at BIOS start up.. could be just a coincidence that my (player disc) is starting to shell out or maybe the laser was having a hard time reading data or CD has too many tracks on it for my player maybe? don't know but no need to send another I can listen to 1st 12 tracks anyhow..
Oh, man, 'Everything Fades' is the opus of the CD!
First complaint I've heard, although one guy got a copy from Amazon that must have got wet - the disc had obvious stains on it.
I'll burn a couple of copies for you - email me your address again, in case I can't find it in my mailbox mikebirchmusic AT yahoo DOT com
