You're all missing the point. There isn't anything that's nutritionally redeming at Mickey D's. Screw the arch cards and start eating real food.

I avoid all fast food if possible, worst crap you can ever eat. If I have a complaint about any retail franchise I go to the district manager, usually by email, and so far the results have been pretty good.

Watch the movie "Supersize Me" if you can find it. Read the book "Fast Food Nation" if you can find it. Both are eye openers, the guy who made Supersize me had to produce it himself because no major movie outfits would touch it, McD's corporate HQ never did respond to 3 months of repeated interview requests. There's also a book "McLibel" that's pretty interesting, loads of info about McD's. They hire teenagers and expect a high turnover for a reason. They don't want them to know anything, everything in the place is designed for mindless idiots to run. If you know much, you want more pay...they expect you to be there no more than 3 months.

If I go for fast food at all it's never McD's, I hate the place. Only two times I ever ate there I got sick as a dog, crappiest burger I ever saw. I won't go near the place. I usually avoid fast food entirely. All of it is very bad for you. Loads of preservatives, sugar, chemicals, greasy, fattening...

Just say no...you're lots better off staying away from all fast food.

A movie was made based on "Fast Food Nation".
It's pretty good.

this issue has been resolved! the owner of this particular franchise did the right thing contacting another manager at the eatery and she could see the problem immediately.. different levels of competency exist in all levels of corporate management..I am thrilled

Wise words. If you can buy it through your car window, it's not food!

thanks Johnny7Band.... fast food serves a purpose, and a McDouble prolly costs less than making a similar hamburger at home, by the time you figure your time (.5 hr. cooking and prep work) (washing the dishes .2 hr.) gas/propane spent, ( cost of burger meat, cheese).. I pay myself $12.00 an hour(I work cheap) for my time so a $1.19 McDouble will cost perhaps $10.00 doing it myself.. more if I have the maid do it..

I'd LIKE to find out what a $10 hamburger tastes like.
It's probably just the same dogmeat on a fancier bun.

We all make different choices. For $5 I can cook an 8oz Top Sirloin, whole baked potato, and fresh steamed broccoli with iced tea or a cold beer to wash it down. It does take about 20 minutes, but it is real food.

I used to eat at Micky D's a lot... almost every day so I do understand but I am so over it. For me, the price of convenience is far too high. Others will surely disagree.
