I'm not sure what got Scotty all fired up.....
I find it sad that so many people say, "if I get a decent nibble THEN I will pay for the premium membership.". If you get a truly decent nibble you might not NEED bandmix anymore. And unless you plan on jerking off in your basement forever you have to spend some money and time on this. Even if you are just doing it for fun this is a pay-to-play world. $29.95 is less than I spend on a set of bass strings, and I change strings more than once every 3 months. I should set a new rule for people I contact - no premium account, don't bother with them, they're too cheap or broke to be a viable bandmate. Ditto on zero music - at least give me an f'n list of stuff you like! Being in a modest "band for fun" actually requires a bare minimum of $50 a week and 7 hours of your time. If you don't have both of those to spare you should stop lookingfor bandmates unless you are under 20 and still live with your parents. Generally speaking I don't want to hear from you if you don't have your own gear, kit, car or gas money. You might be a great bandmate but that is not an additional burden I want to take on nor do I want to saddle my other bandmates with that.
