Thanks Brendan, they just wheeled her into the operating room. I brought my laptop to the hospital to keep me occupied during the 4 hr. surgery.

Prayers sent. My wife went through this 7 years ago and it was more frightening for me than her. The result was a much improved quality of life without pain so she is thankful it was done.

Thanks J7 That's how I feel too. listening to the pre-op stuff scared me a little but hopefully things will go well. I am waiting now!

Actually the surgery has just started. They give you a little pager thingy that keeps you updated and it just notified me that it had begun.

No wife's name is Dawn. Katie is my niece that found her boyfriends body after he hung himself in her closet! I named this song after her to hopefully give her a little piece and something of him to hold on too! She had called the police to tell them that he was taking drugs and was suicidal. They took him to the hospital and gave him more of the same drugs he was already doing. She became very upset when the police arrived the second time and commenced to whooping there ass's while she was handcuffed she was temporarily insane at the time because of the death and circumstances.

She should be coming out within the hour. the beeper thingy said the surgery is progressing well about 2 hrs. ago!

Ah . . . prayers continue then . . .

Maintain your mighty hand over my friend and his wife.
Strengthen the skill of those whom provide intervention and guide her safely through a rapid and complete recovery.
In Christ Jesus name . . .

I generally don't pray ( type or out loud ) in public as to me it's quite personal.
But I wanted you to know I'm serious.

Thanks George! I said my first online prayer about 6 months ago for a friend that was having surgery!

Jeff - hope your wife is resting and recovering now (and you'r resting, too). It'll take some weeks for the healing, so lots of caring from you will be called for!
