See? I can't though..I tried 20x and it just didn't come back.
(I tried hard, really I did.)
Worse yet my head was out to lunch via umpteen thousand takes and I could even get my brain to remember it. (That's how I know it was really good.)
It's there for a sec and if whoever is at the console doesn't get it or deletes it accidentally or whathaveyou, that's it...IT'S GONE.
Now I rather doubt it was a intentional thing but it does sadden me as I wish it had just been shuffled to the side, then I could have recreated it better maybe..
I love to play with people but I don't like the fact that people presume to know what I am thinking. They don't and over time, that fact gets driven home over and over again.
The part I really wonder about is that sometimes it would seem that the better I do initially with a tune, the more complicated people in general want to make it. THAT I'll never understand.
COMPLICATED does not equal good, necessarily.
If you think it's good, fine. Just let me finish it so we can record the next one. DO NOT OVER COMPLICATE, it ruins the feel and it makes you look like you are in a state of panic.
MORE IS NOT BETTER...1 candy bar is fine, but 10,000 is not better.
If you have something good, just try to complete it.
It doesn't need to be a sonata, it just needs to be complete in it's most basic fashion.
24-48 hours later if you feel like it has to be 2 Milkyway bars, ok then.
Otherwise leave it be and enjoy it the way it is...
As for this tune, I am not going to reinvent the wheel.
I'm looking to finish and that's it. All the hard work has already been done and I have to thank Les and Sven for their hard work.
They make me sound better than I really am and for that I am eternally grateful.
If you don't like what I say, you can
