. Just think of all the groceries you could've bought with that loot...

Don't remind me Bob..I'm still kicking myself for not cashing that 1K check but the amp the gent in Missouri sent me is still very nice.

It's a little irritating that I have to mod it to use it, but it was a gift and I still thank him profusely for sending it to me. (when I get 2 cents to rub together I'll probably take it to Sommetone.

Regardless I'll never look a gift horse in the mouth.

LOL "Woman Get on My Horse" LOL

I would Copy right each individual song as its own work, and then the CD as its own Work. This ensurens full control over mechanical rights of distribution

Anyone remember Rhythm man and his two year wait for his certificates?
I still haven't got mine, that was over two years ago. How long does it take to print a piece of paper anywho?
They make a pot of money for doing nothing frankly.
I wouldn't ever spend good and hard to come by money on services that don't work.

Just my two cents

it is depressing to write notes that are technically related in some way, but do not click for the listening pleasure of the masses.. does not seem fair, but then what is fair in this world?

Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry Be Happy" is a masterpiece that deserved to be a smash hit and with it untold monetary riches well deserved..

Its funny I just read this thread monday morning, yesterday I played around with retuning my acoustic, I dropped the lower E to D, and the A to G, and came up with a cool tune I think, its like Zep, in fact it might even be a Zep song in my mind, Im hoping to get it recorded, as its one of the few Ive come up with lately that should be recorded.

It doesnt mean I think its a hit, cause Im not that way about my stuff, but it sounds relevent, and different enough from other things Ive done that I really really need to get it recorded, before I lose the vibe.

I think it is on for my 3 hour @ $10.00 an hour session tonight with a member of the band named Good Literature.. I really need to upgrade puters so I can do recording here without latency issues..

There options to deal with latency.

Line6 Toneport UX2..believe it has to do with my USB ports being 1.1 instead of the required 2.0 USB ports... I run a Dell Dimension 2400 which I have maxed out the memory to as much as the machine allows.. plus clock speed is insufficient.. the puter was made in 2001 I think?
