Mark, i was referring to an incident a few years back , when a gay org had visited the DL in Fld and a couple were caught in the bushes so to speak...It was said that they were visible to (and thus exposed) to kids in the area. However, despite protests and demands, which insisted that the org be banned from the park, Disneyland took no action.

On the heels of that...One of my freinds got banned from the park for lighting up a stogey in the park (prolly in a no smoke zone...which is all over the park)

I'm just saying that its a pathetic display of priorities, when and if folks argue moral perpritude issues.

well, i don't get why the ORGANIZATION should be banned since it was two dumbass individuals acting irresponsibly. if i was guilty of some malfeasance at D-Land should they ban all jews..or all bassplayers because of MY bad judgement?

all going to my point that the two dipshits having some special time together don't represent gays anymore than i represent jews or bassplayers.

My career path continues to shrink, as more and more jobs in the tech sector are shipped overseas, creating a ever-growing vacuum of cheap labor as colleges and tech schools still pump thousands of employable newbs into a shrinking field. I could always change careers, but is anything outside of "service" safe? Has anyone seen the average salary of service workers?

Let's be honest here; via school, home, and car loans, and other necessities to live a 'normal' life, we are being pushed into financial servitude. In the 50's and 60's, you could work a few years while living in an apartment, saving enough to put 50% down on a house and be financially secure, requiring little to no credit to live a comfortable life. With all the technology changes since then, we should be able to live an even more comfortable life, yet our costs of living versus the income levels are so skewed that we all end up indebted up to our eyeballs, and clever interest applications on long-term credit accounts ensures we pay sometimes more than triple the purchase price by the time we pay it off.

Why is that? Wage stagnation, offshoring, tax shelters for the rich, and nickle-and-dime-to-death of the working poor- just to name a few.

I honestly don't see any end in sight, no hope - not just for americans, but for those in europe as well, as they are suffering the same fates as us, where the rich and powerful have pooled all the money, grabbed all the power and influence, and their greed knows no limits. How much is enough? It's never enough.

They say the more $ you have, the more $ you need/want.

you pretty much just repeated exactly what the 10000 nursing schools in this area say when they are trying to hook new students. The exact same thing that happened to the tech sector (flooding jobs) is happening to nursing 3 years running. They keep telling us how there's all these shortages and turnover rates are excessive, but they don't tell you that the reason why there is high turnover and open positions (in some places) is simply because the employers won't pay well and nurses are face-planting on their loans and going out and finding new careers.

Same with the 'personal finance' industry that's supposedly booming right now. Same with many industries. The problem here is that we aren't creating anything anymore.

FYI - I'm not complaing. It's past that. Now I'm protesting. It's american dammit.

I love Jews. But there are two kinds of Jews. That is not my fault. Messianic Jews, and Christianic Jew. You boast that you are a Jew. I love Jews.
