Hey east coast, I've just one thing to say...

Yea we lost power for about 15 minutes at 8:30 but now at 11:30 est it's seemingly very calm and maybe (gulp) over? lol

Thankfully the 8" of predicted snow has not yet arrived.

Heard a huge crash last night. The wind picked up a yard swing and threw it 15' against the house.

Fierce wind. That's about it.

My father told me about the 1938 New England hurricane. Everybody crouched under the kitchen table thinking the world was coming to an end. Must have been pretty terrifying to little kids.

We lucked out north of Boston - scattered trees down, but mypower was out for all of 15 seconds. We've had so many multi-day outages in the last few years that most of the weak trees are now gone.
Parts of NJ are not so lucky, that's for sure.

This is the first topic I hit on in 10 months. Just reminds me of why I quit reading BM posts. Hate is all over the board. Music is insignificant. I just drove 300 miles headlong into the storm and back. I may have an outlook that could be useful. Not going to waste my breath. Don't wanna waste my hate on you.

...do those idiots have any idea how many White two story houses there are in New England?

Isn't hanging the sheet out the window what mothers did for kids who peed their beds?

Wow the aftermath here is 2 giant trees dropped like bad toothpicks and a nice new dent in the roof of my jeep. ( a big limb fell on it )

No big deal though..I guess wrong part of the east coast.

At last count some 17 people are dead.

Who the heck goes for a drive in a storm like that?
Did ya need a Slurpee that badly>? lol
