Too long for me.
It doesn't get going until around 8 minutes.
The intro is twice as long as it needs to be.
The Arabic influence is pretty big. (eh)
I'd love to hear a couple of these influences mixed together.
It's like wanting some milk and sugar to go in my cream of wheat.
Otherwise I've seen a few movies this would have been good in.

Robert Beltran could use the help.

Here's one I recorded last year and truly embraces the Daimon concept I have been talking about. The melody stuff is midi guitar and once I got into it, It took over and I played things I could never imagine . . . My Muse came down for a spell.

The first 2 min were great but after that I lost intrest very quickly.
You need more variation with the church organ. In and Out kind of thing.
"If you can't stand behind our troops, stand in front of them." "The West was not won with a registered gun."
"No law ever prevented a crime."

Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, and Bill Bruford.
I have about 80% of all their works.
Performed properly, ok...Mixed properly, not by a long shot. Sorry to burst your bubble

Anyway, first you said you lost interest after the first 2 min and then advised I should have varied the church organ. Of course there is no church organ to vary but when I do use one I'll keep that in mind.
Now you are unhappy with the mix?

I (think) I understand what RG's getting at. The drone is trowing off the track. In mono, it's good, but once I put headphones on, the drone's moving back and forth between ears draws attention to it at the cost of your other sounds and the piece as a whole. It needs to settle down and be allowed to fill one space in the mix. As to moving in and out, I don't think so. I think the less attention that you draw to the drone, the better. Let it be what it is.
Thanks for the input!
Ok, here's a little something I put together for October!

After getting canned from American Musical Supply after 7 years of repairing guitars I've got a lot of time on my hands! So . . . . thought I'd rip out this demented Jobim meets Miles at Mahavishnu's house!!

Sorry you lost your job - is their business down that much, how many repair techs do they have?
Listened to some of the tune this morning, nice background stuff. DO you use real sax and gong or sampled?
