that's not the principle of it, the principle is to prove to JCP61 that I can sell tunes I wrote, composed, performed, and marketed, so although JCP61 said front porch folks might enjoy it, it could be front porch folks shelling out 7 cents a download.. one day I am going to rework everything at a $70.00 an hour studio so it does sound up to par..

Uh...Dane?

I'm supposed to get all syrupy and maudlin about the homeless - 95% of whom did it to themselves - yet you can make such a unkind remark about folks in LA because 'they made their choice'? Is that not cognitive dissonance on a massive scale? Do you have two personalites?

how do you know 95% of them did it to themselves? did you pull that number out of a hat? I lived thru a hurricane ( Elena) while living in Ft. Walton Beach, back in 1985.. I had a trailer with hurricane straps but they come around with a truck and bullhorn making us evict from our trailers anyway, the drummer in our band had a block house and rode the hurricane out at his place and it was sturdy enough to withstand it.. about a mile and a half from the beach.. my trailer survived it too ut I lived around three and a half miles from the beach Santa Rosa Island was a good buffer though and helped block the brunt of the hurricane..yes, I have 2 personalities, 1 is life within the body of a sasquatch and the other is a pubescent blonde girl with ringlets...

BINGO! this is exactly what I was thinking when I got so pissed Wednesday night. Oh and Dane, what leads you to believe it was not the 95%. All I was asking for was, folks that believe in Christ and God to say a prayer for folks (fellow Americans) that are suffering. Just because you haven't lived through a hurricane and have NO EXPERIENCE in the matter WHATSOEVER doesn't mean you have to be so cold. Besides I thought you are a liberal CHRISTIAN. Tempted as I am I am not going to hurl more insults at you. I HOWEVER have lived and experienced 4 hurricanes and 3 tropical storms that DEVASTATED this area! I know what it is like. Sometimes it is not practical to evacuate. The judges and county commisioners of this ENTIRE area tried that experiment when hurricane Rita was threatening. I was caught up in a 150 mile long traffic jamb when 4 million people tried to evacuate the Houston area it took us almost 48 hrs. to make a 4 hour trip on Sept 23 2005. It turns out evacuating Houston is a PHYSICAL impossibilty! Imagine setting in traffic that long watching the gas gauge indicator go down knowing ALL stations were out of gas. I WAS IN A CAR WITH MY FAMILY IN THIS SITUATION WITH A HURRICANE COMING! Nothing you can do about the fact you are GOING to go through a hurricane in a car in an unfamiliar area! I'll NEVER EVER go thru that again! The only thing folks can do some times is HUNKER down. Maybe those folks couldn't afford to leave La. or maybe they are OLD with no car or family. Dane I believe you are a HYPOCRITE and Lynard is telling the truth about you. You claim to be a Christian and yet you threaten to sue Lynard and admit it is because you want the money and you make a COLD HEARTED statement like what set me off about these poor folks suffering in Louisiana. Dude I advise you to do some SOUL SEARCHING go to church this Sunday and try to get some Decensy back. I believe EVERY MAN has the capability!

Dane

I base my 95% estimate on personal exeperience - what I saw with my own eyes over an extended period of time.

How is that folks in Lousiana don't rate at least a hat tip?

I think everyone deserves a hat tip, minimum.
