The 60s and 70s were driven by an incredible can do attitude. Even when the first energy crises sunk Jimmy Carters re election hopes and we were facing tremendous domestic problems,, The Apollo space program was leading us in ways that can't be measured in dollars.
Neil Armstrong was a very quiet leader. Yet he was a great man.
It is sad that only one station had the courage to devote a major amount of time to this loss of a great AMERICAN.
I hope someone has the courage to pick up the torch that he just passed.
