Up @ 05:00 on the road before 06:00
On location by 06:45.
Done, loaded up and headed home 18:15
Set up in front of a MACY'S department store in Tyler played a rotation of Six sets with 15 - 30 minute breaks, all day.
Much of it in the direct sun. Fortunately there was some scattered cloud cover and a breeze.
Never thought I'd say I was tired of playing.
But I was.
Good day all told though it is difficult to play that long under those conditions without fatigue related mistakes.
Would I do it again? Yes!
But not tomorrow.

MACY'S sponsors an event at which they allow charities to sell discount coupons.
Then the one day of the year they hold a special "sale" where in those charitable coupons are redeemable.
We were asked to provide the outdoor entertainment.

Thanks.
Not much for music up right now unfortunately.

Just a couple of "Shop Edit" selections as we reformed back in January and have been blessed to be busy playing out and have not made good on our desire to release our CD.
The core group has really just begun to get comfortable with our new front, and a great many things are changing, for the better I believe.
Add to that the fluctuations of the dreaded day jobs, occasional illnesses, and the recent loss of one of our members son. It's amazing to me that we have gotten as far as we have since the changing of the guard, so to speak.

It was taxing, fulfilling, and fun. I'm sure you would do the same for something you believe in.

Thanks guys.

We did make a little off T-Shirts and received some donations ourselves.
The big thing for us was to be in Tyler. Right in the middle of one of the largest retail areas in that city. Loud & proud 8)

One of our donations came from a young man whom heard us when he came out of the mall. Way over on the other side of a six lane.

Made some good contacts as well that should lead to more "church" gigs youth groups ETC.

Yeah we had six short sets, but we played them more than once because it was not a "static crowd" with people coming and going.
