love to hear that story but i'll let you get around to it when it's best. i did get to play one 'em (a fretted one) a few yrs back at Freedom Gtr in SF. i just about herniated myself when i picked it up! sadly it wasn't set up very well so i couldn't really get an honest pic of what they're like. big, big assed honking neck on that thing!
