Strange. The professors have different #s than the Huff Post polling data, and that differs a little from the box on the right of the article.

I expect Romney to win in a landslide, anyway, for better or worse once he's in, but reading the article and looking at the page was weird. Lets me know agendas exist, polling is skewed, and ultimately Americans vote with their wallets, which means Obama loses.

I honestly don't see Romney taking it. Seems he's spending all his time doing damage control these days. His running mate is extremely questionable regarding extremist principles, especially women's rights.

I really don't think it matters who wins, the american people lose regardless.

Obama, coming from seemingly nowhere, was placed in power by the same folks who manage US foreign policy ... not the voting public. He is a key asset toward achieving their goals in the geopolitical theater. They could care less about our squabbling over left and right issues here in our domestic playpen.

Internationally, Obama the "democrat" will be able to generate more acceptance of unpopular foreign policy decisions, than Romney who will look more like another George W. Bush to most of the world. Before Obama, such a plan would never work, why should any African give a rat's ass about the US? On the contrary, he will be aiding and increasing the efficiency of the ongoing rape of Africa's vast and rich resources with little if any benefit to the average African.

It is a stated goal of AFRICOM to keep a "light footprint" on the African continent by arming, training, advising the locals to do the fighting for us, instead of sending in massive amounts of US troops to sustain casualties, as in Afganistan or Iraq. It will be far easier for a pseudo lefty "African" pres of the US to sell the perspective of US policy, and inspire the average African. Could Romney pull it off? No way!

So with Al- Shabaab, Al-Qaeda, and Boko Haram, franchises opening up there ... and some say them pesky Colombian drug-lords are moving into the neighborhood too, frolicking amongst all the oil, diamonds, gold, and rare earth elements .... Africa could be a very very busy, and bloody, place for acting out US policy concerns in the next few years

I suppose the African prez could justify any behavior he wants with any icon he chooses... If it came down to it...I don't know why he doesn't groove in with Michael Jordan... A far better and inspiring symbol of hope... Nevertheless, We should never elect presidents here soley on the basis of how the 'image' of that will impact other countries...To do so would make us hostages of the world consensus... I'm not convinced that "WE" (the people) actually select our president, but that a very influential few allow us to elect the candidate that best suits their purpose in their drive to monopolize an emerging global governance . That said, I'll agree with you otherwise.
