Sorry Bob but this got buried in another thread. It is a very useful treatment for dizziness and vertigo as a result of BPPV. It has worked for everyone I know who had similar symptoms. Hope it helps:

Not saying its a cure, but I bet standing on ones head on a wing during an airshow, will either straighten out the vertigo... or make one so dizzy that all subsequent wobbling of the world will occur in slow motion. (ENough time to catch ourselves if we fall)

Went to a doctor today, my lung capacity is 67% of what it should be for my age,weight, height. Don't know if it's related to a bout of severe bronchitis I had in July, neurlogical problems,or it might even be simply congenital, or a combination of the above. The doctor is stumped. He suggested I take an anxiety med until he tested my lung capacity, oops it's NOT stress related! More testing coming up. BTW, thanks for sharing the vertigo vids, don't know if that applies in my case but wouldn't hurt for me to check them out. I still think I have a neurological problem related to my neck and breathing, lots of neurological disease in my family tree. Keep you posted, unless I drop dead. It could happen....My brother died at age 46 in his sleep, autoopsy revealed no known cause. They called it adult SIDS!

The bronchitis sounds like it's the cause. If it was severe enough, it can screw your lungs up for months. I had a severe respiratory infection over ten years ago and I was on three inhalers for over six months to clear it up. When I cough, I still bark like a seal and people go, "are you okay?" It's horrible.

Have identical problem. only my breathing was down to 63 - then popped up to 74 but a shot of steriod and a nebulizer treatment.

i have bronchitus 4 or 5 times a year and was trying to defeat it using my own immune system and ended up with pneumonia. That was three months ago and Im still having issues as noted above - got that shot two days ago.

We get older, we don't heal as fast. And there are lots of tough bugs showing up.

Consider inner ear issues with the dizziness ? My dad has suffered with this issue on and off most of his life.

. I do get dizzy sometimes at gigs. I'm getting musician's ear plugs tomorrow to protect my ears.

I smoked for 30+ years. My Breathing was incapacitated significantly...The doc told me: "Either quit smoking now, or die sometime later this year. I quit cold-assed turkey (Will be three years this March) .

Bob our bass player has severe vertigo. He says it feels like he is falling down. He had this problem 2 years ago and the doctor couldn't find anything wrong. It went away and he was fine for a while but now it's back worse than ever. They have finally diagnosed him with Meniere's disease. It is a condition that effects the inner ears balance mechanism. It is usually accompanied with tinnitus. He just had an MRI that cleared him of tumors or growths. It did however find a lot of fluid in his inner ear.

check out Meniere's Syndrome, if this seems close to what you experience, maybe cut way back on your salt intake...high salt intake causes moisture to stay in certain areas of the body(retaining fluid)
