Restricting it to three songs; which three songs would you like to have played at your funeral?

Here's mine, at this point in time:
Im only sleeping - The Beatles
Orion - Metallica
Fiction - Avenged Sevenfold

Rock Of Ages
What A Friend We Have In Jesus
Jesus Loves Me
Shell We Gather At The River

I believe that the very purpose of life is to be happy. From the very core of our being, we desire contentment. In my own limited experience I have found that the more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense of well-being. Cultivating a close, warmhearted feeling for others automatically puts the mind at ease. It helps remove whatever fears or insecurities we may have and gives us the strength to cope with any obstacles we encounter. It is the principal source of success in life. Since we are not solely material creatures, it is a mistake to place all our hopes for happiness on external development alone. The key is to develop inner peace with our music.

I went to my drummers old ladies funeral a few months back,
and at her graveside they played Freebird (per her request),
it pissed her Dad off so bad that when the song came on he thru
a fit and made a play for the tape player, but was held back and
then stormed off cussing. I never figured out why that song effected
him so.

I'd have
1. Precious Memories
2. Golden Slumbers
3. Rock and Roll AllNite

Never really thought about it, but maybe I should record some of the most awful guitar noise that mankind has ever heard, around 18 minutes of it and have them play it at my funeral, Do you think people would get up and leave? That would suit my sense of humor.

Honestly Ive always thought about recording a video and tell some folks that would probably be there what I really think of them!

I could combine it with my guitar noise, yeah thats the ticket!

Mozart's "Lacrimosa"

B side of Abbey Road or at least the Medley or Here comes the sun.

Eric and Duane- "Layla" but just the last part where the piano kicks in with the acoustic and slide.

Thanks for coming!

jsantos nice choices! 8) I was going to go with Requiem Mass but I'll take my picks.

Instructions to my Friends , on the day of my death

Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking time off work. Now that I'm dead, I have just a few small favors to ask. Please obtain a Sharpee pen and draw a thick black X over each one of my eyes (There should only be two)... Then, please sew my tongue to the left, just outside the corner of my mouth.
Locate and obtain my last w2 form. Affix the form onto the breast/lapel of my Calvin Klein suit jacket (which I should be wearing.)
Finally, please then take my body to the nearest IRS office, and leave it there at the doorway. You may return to your homes from there. Thanks you all, and I'll see you on the flip side...or...maybe not. :)
Most Sincerely ...
