bickering will not change the deeds and actions that have taken place here and only causes harm to human relationships rather than good will being established... remember to love, and our time is short here on Earth whether we are Texans or Missourians or residents of other communities, ..just reading Jessica Redfield's twitter page gives me chills up my spine, as I read her last entry THE MOVIE STARTS IN TWENTY MINUTES and she would be telling people she would be "tired tomorrow morning"..well you know what, tomorrow morning never came and she is forever silenced, and that's sad as hell.. I had a dream a few nights ago, Lynard was speaking to me again at local events, and when I woke up I was as sad as could be and almost cried.. realizing reality was reality again..and I was not in Dreamland anymore..

you wished it would have been a homo-erotic dream I suppose, but once again, you fail big time.. in the dream, you were talking to me as if nothing had happened verbally, and I was thinking (in my dream) how strange it is Lynard is once again talking to me as friends again..that's all there was to it.. I don't idolize you either, but did respect your business acumen and still do, you were good at what you did, you had good experience and a level head... why you turned on me is anybody's guess though.. did nothing to you..

Jeff, thinking back, I think he might have always took me for a worthless punk even though to my face he would always say "Hey Dane what's going on" or something like that ..always a greeting and curiosity of what had been going down in my life, a genuine friendly person, or at least I thought, but ever since his remark here on this board about me being and acting like a "big-shot" I'm thinking he hates me now for being uppity or something here, I don't match what his image was of me in reality is and that causes him to lash out and try belittling me , his stereotype of me being a loser, is what's causing his strange behavior.... if I acted meek and stupid I would fit his profile of me and think his hostility would go away if I just played the part he wants me to be.. I'm prolly reading too much into it, but then it is troubling, cause a person can never have too many friends..

Dane, I picture him as a man with a Napolean complex if not a little paranoid. You know the kind, if you have one he has one better! If I am correct in my assumption it stands to reason he would be intimidated by someone he doesn't consider is beneath him!

I believe he puts more importance into LEAD SOLOING than necessary.. my motto has always been, "For The Song".. his remark about me standing beside him looking stupid when we were jamming together at Morris's garage, was one of those days he went on a rampage, soloing, and soloing, and soloing, it got pretty "busy" to say the least

Jeff, Dane, I would like to appeal to all of us to wipe the slate clean... There was a time Jeff, when you pointed out to me that I was so unforgiving (to Lynard)...And I had pointed out that you might have been too easy to forgive... Now, when you easily forgave, I see you were doing the right thing. It was me, who held a heart of stone

We are musicians, above all other things...And musicians are masters in matters of the heart and humanity...

I am reminded daily of the inhumanity that surrounds me in the streets of Juarez (just a 10 minute drive away from where I live) . How can I hold contempt for Lynard or Jimmy or anybody else when , despite our silly disagreements of past, they did nothing 'wrong' nor did they ever 'hurt' other souls... How should I be so puffed up?

I don't mean to sound all gushy and melancholy...But this week, I was endowed with a heightened awareness about a few things...which were important to me...

I'm asking all my buds on BM to follow Jeff's original example and simply forgive... (No Pressure Jeff! LOL!)

Me..Lately, I'm just trying to check my vitriol at the door...
