He did an album with Tony Iommi a few years ago. He was also in Deep Purple for a time.

Just waiting to see if anyone knows about "Black Country Communion" We are known to play "a little ole song" called "Man In The Middle"

I love this tune it is a Drummers song, I REALLY like how the guitar becomes part of the percussion!
We had to stop playing this song because it just didn't get the response from the crowd we wanted! "Jaws On The Floor" I love but NO ONE RECOGNIZED the tune! Great song but crickets were chirping and that was SAD!

Glenn Hughes is one of my all-time favorite singers! Please....somebody tell me that you remember Trapeze? (Black Cloud, You are the music we're just the band, Jury, etc...)

When they split up, the drummer (Dave Holland) went to Judas Priest, the guitarist went to White Snake (Mel Galley), and their bassist/singer (Glenn Hughes) went to Deep Purple. I realized it's probably heresy but I liked that version of Deep Purple even better than the original when they produced "Burn" and "Come Taste the Band" with Dave Coverdale and Glenn Hughes and Tommy Bolin singing

He was living in Dallas and hanging out with Rocky Athas for a time about a decade ago, rehabbing from alcoholism.

Was he on that Tommy Bolin album Come Taste the Band,
I thought that was Roger Glover on bass.

I listened to Soul Mover after reading this thread and it
sounded like Deep Purple, at least the singer.

Rockin Song a little heavier than my tastes
